hi Intervain! for this, no i didn't, super sculpey firm (grey) is hard enough to keep the details in without fear of smudging! i highly recommend!

the first thing I did when I saw this was I imediatly began nit-picking. Then I said, wait a minute! I was able to tell without a doubt that this was Ian and it doesn't even have any hair! excellant job!

70 percent block out and then for details use tiny sausages of clay to build up on, the tinier the betterrrrr, lots of references help too.
